1.  Memorial Tree Plantings - Memorial trees are planted throughout the community for Arbor Day bringing awareness of Club Objectives to the Community.  Honorees names are then put on a plaque in the Lucerne Valley Senior Center.  Funded by donations from the community.

2.  “Water Awareness Garden” - Our primary community project is a water conservative desert garden located adjacent to our local Senior Center on public property in Lucerne Valley.  Members plant and maintain the garden all year.  Funded by donations made to the club.

3.  Stamp Collection - Used postage stamps are collected and given to CGCI at the June Convention.

4.  "Penny Pines" - Pennies are collected to purchase a Penny Pines Plantation to help in the Reforestation of National Forests in California.  One plantation costs $68 which busy 325 young trees planted in the forest or our choice.

5.  Club Garden Tours - The club offers it's members and the public a chance to tour unique gardens, orchards, and places of interest throughout the High Desert Community.  Car pool is usually offered if out of town trips are made.  The club also participates in tour of interest sponsored by the Roadrunner district that provide a bus for transportation.  Members pay their way for these activities.

6.  Annual Club Plant Sales - Held each year on the porches of Lucerne Valley Market, this is our primary source of fundraising.  We specialize in drought tolerant plants suitable for the High Desert and hard to find in most nurseries.  All members participate.

7.  Flowers for Graduation - A carnation (white and/or yellow) is given to each graduating senior from Lucerne Valley High Schools.  Funded by club.
